Longxi Rice Terraces
This are of the of the Guizhou Province in Southern China is beautiful, mountainous woodlands and has been the traditional home of the H’Mong people (all the way down to the Sa Pa region of Vietnam). The Miao have shaped these mountains for centuries, terracing to optimize rice production. The resulting geometry of the terraces tracing wrapping mountain topography are beautiful.
