The Guinness Storehouse
The Guinness Storehouse is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist sites, at least according to their own promotional material. But there’s no reason to doubt it – who doesn’t want to tour through such and iconic brewery and then end the tour with a nice frosty stout and great views of Dublin?
26 Euros gets you into the Guinness Storehouse Experience, which is a surprisingly cutting edge museum of the history of Guinness production within the building. The kind of place where a display of malt is placed directly on the floor within a curbed tray with the word “MALT” projected on it in glowing museum-conscious halogen light. There is a crazy beautiful collection of barrels and cooper tools.
